Spring favourites! Mac So Chaud, Estee Lauder Doublewear Cashew, Murad AHA BHA Exfoliator, Aveda Hand Relief Review

Hi all,

Check out my recent beauty favorites for this spring!

Mac lipstick - So Chaud

A new addition to my lipstick collection, So Chaud is an orange based red lipstick, that brightens all tan complexions. With a matte finish, you will need to exfoliate beforehand as this lipstick can be very drying. Nevertheless, this lipstick is worth it! I wore it out to a day in London and I have never received so many compliments from strangers.

Estee Lauder Doublewear foundation - 3W2 Cashew

Probably my Holy Grail foundation so far, Estee lauder's double wear foundation provides a very decent longevity which is perfect for the warmer months, and high coverage. In fact, this has earned the record for being the first liquid foundation that I have ever fully finished! I prefer to apply double wear foundation using a beauty blender (or the Real Techniques blender) which gives me a natural finish.

Murad AHA /BHA Exfoliating Cleanser

I actually found this Murad exfoliating cleanser in TK Maxx - How epic! I use this about twice a week at night, and this truly is a great product. Murad's exfoliating cleanser contains powerful ingredients such as salicylic acid and exfoliating beads help to remove dead skin cells and prevent breakouts. It cleanses my skin nicely and also removes any excess makeup. The only downside is that I feel that this cleanser tends to dry out my skin, so this may be better for normal / oily skin types.

Aveda Hand Relief Cream

Aveda hand relief - THE BEST HAND CREAM in the world!!! This hand cream has drastically improved the look and feel of my hands, and also lasts through hand washes. With a very thick consistency, Aveda's hand relief takes a few minutes to absorb into the hands and doesn't leave a greasy residue.

What beauty items have you been enjoying this spring?
