Funky Eyeliner look using Sleek Circus palette!

Hello everyone!

How are you doing? Here's just a few pictures of my makeup a few days ago - I was feeling creative and did some eyeliner on both my upper and lower lash line. I used MAC's paint pot in painterly first with an angled brush first to trace the eyeliner and then using my Sleek Circus palette, I used the light pink eyeshadow from the corner to about 1/3 of my upper eye, then used a more fuchsia pink in the centre, and finally blending the colours into a dark purple colour. On the bottom half of my lids, I just did the opposite. You'll get it when you see the pictures!

(woaaah why is there such a huge gap here? LOL I can't get rid of it! #fail)

I'm so sorry for the lack of posts recently, my dissertation troubles are killing me and I haven't had much time to try out many makeup looks. I apologise :( :(
Also, technically I'm supposed to be doing a Speechless Saturday update today but  I'll refrain this time!
In case any one wants to know, I'm wearing D&G secret eyes mascara and Sleek's lipstick in peaches and cream.

Have you ever experimented any eyeliner looks using shadows? Let me know in the comments!
Thanks so much for checking out my blog, and I hope you have a lovely weekend :)

2. Put the award in your post.
3. Choose 5 blogs with under 200 followers to receive the award.

Did I just nominate 6 bloggers instead of five? "Oops". I couldn't cut the list down any further, haha! Thanks again to Shannon for awarding me, and please check out her and the people I nominated!

Cadbury's Mini Eggs Pastel Inspired Makeup!

Hey everyone,
I had no idea what to call this makeup, but since it is Good Friday I thought I'd make a little Easter-esque, and the blue from this eyeshadow look reminds me of the pastel blue colour from Cadbury's Mini Eggs.

All the shadows I used are from Sleek brand (Yayy!). I always enjoy using affordable makeup so that anyone can re-create this look!

Palettes used:                                    Sleek Chaos Palette.
Sleek Monaco Palette:

How I achieved this look:
Eyes:
(eyeshadows used are indicated on the palettes above)
I applied Painterly Paint pot by MAC onto my eyelids. Next I grabbed my Sleek Palette in Monaco and using a flat shader brush, building the minty blue colour on the inner third of my eye. Next I used a darker blue shade from the Monaco palette,  and patted this in the centre of my eyelid, blending the two shadows together. I used a deeper turquoise, and a navy colour from the Chaos palette on the outer third of the lid, blending with a fluffy MAC 224 brush. As a transition colour, I used a warm brown colour on my socket crease area ( don't know how to word it haha)
To line my upper lids I used MAC's fluid line in blacktrack. I was quite rusty so I made a few errors :(
I used Dolce and Gabbana secret eyes mascara. I then used sleek kajal in odyssey on my waterline and underneath my eyes, setting it with some purple eyeshadow from the palette.

Face:
Urban Decay surreal skin mineral foundation powder in hallucination was applied sparingly

Lips:
MAC's lipstick in modesty topped with MAC lip glass in raquel

Hope you all have a great Easter break!
Thanks for stopping by :)
